Calpella Elementary School South Campus Modernization Ukiah, California
The Calpella Elementary School south campus comprises of a multi-purpose building; a library building; an east pod and a west pod, each includes four classrooms, a resource room and restrooms; and a south pod which is the kindergarten complex.
This project involved a complete redesign of the east and west pods’ interior. The exterior of all structures underwent dry-rot repair, re-roofing and HVAC systems replacement.
Natural lighting was introduced to the east, west and south pods, which allows the use of electrical lighting to be optional and provides an operational cost savings to the district.
