Parque Niños Unidos Children's Recreation Clubhouse San Francisco, California

The San Francisco Department of Recreation and Parks acquired a triangular parcel of land, once a reailroad spur and later an industrial site, located in the Mission District at 23rd Street and Folsom Street.

The site was resurrected as a new children’s playground, park and community garden. Where the parcel merges into an acute triangle, we designed a 1,200 square foot clubhouse. The purpose for the clubhouse is to provide a multitude of children activities, including a toddler daycare, after school programs, and educational programs and activities for young disabled children.

The Clubhouse includes a clubroom, kitchen, storage and restrooms that serve both the clubhouse and the adjacent new play area.
